Bhagirath Samai (born 11 August 1957) is one of the finest shooters of INDIA who represented the country in various international events like Commonwealth games, Asian games, Asian shooting Championship and SAF(South Asian games) his first international representation was in the year 1982( 12th Commonwealth games ) held in Brisbane (Australia) his last international representation was in the year 1993 (SAF games) held in Dhaka, Bangladesh
